The largest gospel choir consists of 4,745 participants and was achieved by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Philippines) at the Philippine Arena in Ciudad de Victoria, Bulacan, Philippines, on 27 July 2014.
The number of participants, according to the Guinness world records was audited by a team from an auditing firm Punongbayan & Araullo, with help from 119 stewards from SCAN International. The participants were members of various choirs of the Iglesia Ni Cristo and came from all around the world to celebrate the church’s centennial anniversary.
They sang hymes of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (“We Offer”, “We Will Love According To Your Word” and “We Vow To Walk In Integrity And Purity”) and the performance lasted for 10 minutes.
