An Open Letter to Yinka Ayefele by Gbenga Ojoyido

One of the ex members of Yinka Ayefele band that took off in the United State, Gbenga Ojoyido has written an open letter to his former boss Yinka Ayefele. He posted this on his facebook page 2 days ago.
Gbenga Ojoyido was Yinka Ayefele’s producer for years and he also served as his keyboardist on stage.

See his letter below.

At first you threatened to get us ostracised from the US, you later realised it was a wild-goose chase, now you will stop at nothing to discredit us, you are painting us with all sorts of negativity at every chance you get; permit me to laugh it out...

Since we are this important to you why didn't you see to our well being and keep us at all cost, why have you failed to treat us like men and not boys, you could have let us have a say in what we see as a career instead of you being soaked up in your egoism.

You pretend not to care about us leaving you whenever you talk to the media but you won't stop beating yourself up when you get to the corner of your room.

Don't we get to decide what is good for our lives? It's not as if we signed a contract with you not to leave whenever we want or is there any such thing I am not aware of?

If I join your band in 2002 willfully and decided to call time on my association with you in 2013 why should there be a problem, you can do us all a favour by simply moving on as we have since did.

PLEASE BEHAVE LIKE AN M.O.N AND LEAVE US ALONE.
