As we all know that Nigeria is so blessed with talented male and female instrumentalist praising God with their instruments.
Here is Naija number one female drummer Temitope Odebiyi aka Topsticks.

Temitope Odebiyi (Naija number one female drummer), is a solo performer, session drummer &drum coach.

A graduate of History &Diplomatic Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Masters in History &Strategic Studies from University of Lagos, Diploma in Music from MUSON School of Music, &also studied percussion @ d PeterKings College of Music.

Having performed for over 7years, she has carved a niche and she is popularly known as "Topsticks". Her dexterity has awarded her platforms in major concerts /live programmes like Tejubabyface show, StarQuest Reality TV Show, Efizee 9t, MUSON festival, Creative Drummer's Festival & some International Music Seminar. She is an ambassador at Drum Network Africa.

Topsticks is strongly influenced by good music & sound, while people like Pastor Jedafe, Edi Lawani, Mr Odia Ofeimum have been solid back bone in the pursuit of her dream. Her role models includes: SheilaE, Cindy Blackman, Dave Weckle, Aaron Spears, Calvin Rodgers, Steve Smith, K Sticks & musicians around her.

She is the Director at Wonder Drums (a music company), the coordinator of Mega Praise Summit (a monthly concert that holds @MUSON Center every second Sunday), and the band leader of Topsticks Band.
