Multiple Award winner Gospel artiste, Olubunmi Akinnaanu-Adeoye, otherwise called Omije Ojumi,’s daughter is 3 years today... Hurray!!!

Are you saying you don’t know Bunmi Akinnanu Adoye??? Okay, here is a little about her.

In 2008 when Ibeere Nla was released, the album, produced by the ECWA church choir to which Olubunmi Akinnaanu belonged, featured a hit track Omije Ojumi.

The creativity and melodious voice which Akinnaanu combined in singing the track fascinated many. It was therefore not long before she earned the appellation, Omije Ojumi.

It is also not impossible for some people to think she is in dire need of the fruit of the womb then with the cries she let out to God as shown in the video. In fact, her reference in the song to Hannah in the Holy Bible, who went to Shiloh to beseech God to give her a son, may reinforce their submission.

Though her singing career embraced stardom with Omije Ojumi, she now has a band of her own called Omije Ojumi Gospel International Music, with which she propagates the gospel.   She has so far released three albums – Dabira (Do Wonder) released in 2008, Alatilehin (My Supporter, 2010) and Masunkun mo (Weep No More) which the VCD is to be released soon.

She also won an award for Best Gospel Artist of the year at City People’s Entertainment Award.

According to her, “ I am so happy that my reproach is not part of me anymore, so many people has been blessed through me, through my testimony, people believe so much in the God Almighty that I serve and they are also carrying their babies now”.
